Today is a storm
Raining cats and dogs
Ravenous beasts
Lurking from night till morn
I see through the fogs
The danger in the mist
Seeking to Devore my form
Tomorrow is a stronghold
A marvellous Citadel
Reinforced to save
From what hides in the cold
A refuge from terror a shell
There is no death or ruin or slave.
But what imagination can mould
But the refuge is out of reach
The castle which cannot be breached
The things that haunt us on our heels
Wishing to make us their final meal
Hope, take us to the Stronghold
Fly us to the place of gold.
from now to then, where things are fair
where the sun is bright and the air is clear
